Claire B. Carter, an associate at Saxon|Gilmore, has been involved in the Guardian Ad Litem program since October 2016. Recently, she had the pleasure of attending the adoption of the foster child for whom she was the Guardian Ad Litem.
Guardian Ad Litem volunteers work within a team that includes a Child Advocate Manager and a Best Interest Attorney. Their job is to make recommendations that serve the child’s best interests.
Volunteer Guardians Ad Litem undergo comprehensive training to learn how to observe children, parents, and foster families.
