EXPERIENCE

Jozette Chack-On is a partner at Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A. concentrating her practice in the areas of corporate law, business law, mergers and acquisitions, public, affordable and workforce housing, mixed finance real estate transactions, and infrastructure project development. She has extensive experience in mixed finance affordable housing revitalization and construction projects, including project financing (such as HOPE VI, low income housing tax credits, tax exempt bonds, SHIP, SAIL, HOME), acquisition and redevelopment of real estate, project management, and public/private partnerships.  Ms. Chack-On has also served as special counsel to Tampa Bay Water, a regional water supply authority, for the development of Design-Build-Operate (DBO) water facilities, as well as reservoir and well mitigation issues.  She earned her B.S. degree, with honors, in Multinational Business Operations and Marketing from Florida State University in 1994, and was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Golden Key.  Ms. Chack-On earned her J.D. degree, with high honors, from the Florida State University College of Law in 1997, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi.
