EXPERIENCE John W. Wilcox, senior partner and co-founder of Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway, Gibbons, Lash & Wilcox, P.A., concentrates his law practice in environmental law, and water law and infrastructure project development. Mr. Wilcox has led efforts and participated in evaluating and implementing innovative public-private partnerships to design, build, finance, and operate water supply facilities across Florida. Mr. Wilcox has extensive experience in other diverse areas of the law, such as construction law and litigation, insurance coverage, products liability, and professional negligence. He has negotiated numerous permits and licenses and has litigated a variety of administrative cases. He received his B.A. degree with high honors, as well as his J.D. degree from the University of Florida. Mr. Wilcox is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Florida Blue Key. He has appeared as a speaker at numerous seminars and conferences, including the National Business Institute, Florida Bar, Hillsborough County Bar Association, the International Desalination Association World Congress in 2003, National Council for Public-Private Partnerships in 2003, and the American Desalting Association in 2000.
