EXPERIENCE

Thomas A. Lash, senior partner and co-founder of Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway, Gibbons, Lash & Wilcox, P.A., has practiced creditors' rights, bankruptcy and corporate law in Tampa since 1989. Mr. Lash also handles more complex consumer litigation cases.  He is a 1983 graduate of the University of Richmond, E. Claiborne Robins School of Business, with a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, Beta Gamma Sigma. He earned his C.P.A. in 1985 and a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1988. Mr. Lash is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court as well as the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Middle District of Florida.  Mr. Lash has lectured before numerous groups on creditors' rights, Uniform Commercial Code and bankruptcy topics. He is a member of a variety of Bar and local organizations, including the American Bar Association; American Bankruptcy Institute; the Florida Bar, and the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association; and he has been a member of the Executive Council, Business Law Section of the Florida Bar since 2006.  He is listed in Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry, and his clients include larger financial institutions and corporations, both national and international.
