Ricardo Gilmore, senior partner and co-founder of Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A., served on the Law Firm Panel for the FDIC in Jacksonville, Florida. The FDIC Legal Division hosted a Representing the FDIC seminar to discuss changes in the economic conditions of the financial services industry.
Law firms interested in representing the FDIC, particularly minority and women owned law firms, that have expertise in areas related to the financial services industry, including, but not limited to Commercial Litigation, Professional Liability Claims, Complex Real Estate Transactions, Class Action Litigation, Bankruptcy Cases, Debt Restructuring, Workouts, Defaults and Foreclosures, attended the seminar.
Mr. Gilmore has practiced law for more than twenty five years and specializes in the areas of business and corporate law, public finance, and commercial litigation. Annual Empty Bowls Thanksgiving Luncheon
Saxon Gilmore employees participated in the 15th Annual Empty Bowls Thanksgiving Luncheon. America's Second Harvest of Tampa Bay sponsored the event in order to replenish the supplies in the Food Bank to help feed and nourish the hungry. The $10 donations helped to provide food for their 700-plus agency partners that care for the hungry and homeless in 10 counties in west central Florida.

Saxon Gilmore employees participated in "Step Out: - Walk to Fight Diabetes". The event took place on the USF campus on Saturday, November 14, 2009. The proceeds went to the American Diabetes Association.� The Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes.

The event was held at USF because this is where the first Diabetes Clinical Center Outpatient Clinic and Research Hospital are being planned in Florida.
