2014 – With the growing number of seniors in need of affordable housing in Pinellas County, Pinellas Heights is a welcome addition to the community. The 153-unit apartment complex for seniors includes one and two bedroom apartments. The affordable living community has a library with internet access, a fitness center, a laundry center, and a TV lounge on every floor, as well as a shuffleboard court and other amenities.
Pinellas Heights was designed by Bessolo Design Group, Inc. and constructed by Brooks & Freund. The construction was made possible by financing from a number of sources including the Housing Finance Authority of Pinellas County, Florida, JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A., Pinellas County, the Pinellas County Housing Authority, RBC Tax Credit Equity, LLC, and PNC Bank National Association. The developer was Norstar Development USA, LP.
