Gerald T. Buhr was recently honored by the Town of Zolfo Springs. The Town placed a new bronze plaque on the front of City Hall, known as the “Gerald T. Buhr Civic Center,” commemorating Mr. Buhr’s 20 years’ service as Town Attorney.
Gerald T. Buhr, practicing through Gerald T. Buhr, P.A., serves as of Counsel to Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A.. Mr. Buhr is certified by the Florida Bar in city, county and local government law, and along with his work as city attorney recognized by Zolfo Springs, serves as City Attorney for the cities of Bowling Green, Avon Park and San Antonio. Mr. Buhr also concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental law, land use and water law, lobbying, and administrative law.
He has over 20 years of legal experience and has advised on numerous environmental enforcement actions, permits, licenses, contracts and utility construction projects, and has analyzed or drafted numerous ordinances and contracts for utility rates and developer relations. Mr. Buhr is AV rated in the Martindale-Hubbell law directory and has been named as one of the “Tampa Bay Top Lawyers” by Tampa Bay Magazine 2012.
