University of Florida’s 20th Annual Cross-Connection Control Conference

Gerald T. Buhr, serves as of Counsel to Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A. He taught a course on Legal Issues in Backflow Prevention in Crystal River for the University of Florida’s 20th Annual Cross-Connection Control Conference. Mr. Buhr is a member of the Florida Bar (Environmental and Land Use, and Local Government Sections), writes a monthly legal environmental column for the Florida Water Resources Journal, is an American Water Works Association “Life Member”, and Water Environments Federation “Quarter Century Operator.
Gerald Buhr concentrates his practice in the areas of government and utilities law. He has advised on numerous environmental enforcement actions, permits, licenses, contracts and utility construction projects, and performed, analyzed or drafted numerous ordinances and contracts for utility rates and developer relations. He is City Attorney for the cities of Avon Park, Mulberry, Bowling Green and Zolfo Springs, Florida.
