J. Frazier Carraway and Suzanne DeCopain have been included in 2018 Super Lawyers

2018 – Saxon Gilmore & Carraway, P.A. is pleased to announce that J. Frazier Carraway, shareholder, has been included in the 2018 Super Lawyers list for the seventh consecutive year. No more than 5% of attorneys in Florida are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers.

Suzanne J. DeCopain, an associate at Saxon|Gilmore, has been selected to the 2018 Florida Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Only 2.5% of attorneys in Florida receive this distinction.

Super Lawyers is published in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., reaching more than 13 million readers. It is a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.

Mr. Carraway concentrates his practice on consumer litigation, construction litigation, civil rights, and general civil litigation. Mr. Carraway has more than 25 years’ experience in arbitrating and litigating construction, civil rights, and business matters in state and federal courts. He has received an AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Suzanne J. DeCopain concentrates her practice in the areas of general civil litigation and affordable and public housing. She provides advice and services to various public housing authorities and other affordable housing providers in such areas as landlord/tenant matters and all associated aspects of state, federal, and HUD related laws, regulations, policies, and compliance; Fair Housing and ADA/504 compliance; Florida Government-in-the-Sunshine law; public records law; and, employment law, human resources policy, and EEOC matters.

Ms. DeCopain serves as secretary of the George Edgecomb Bar Association (GEBA), one of the most active bar associations in Tampa. She helps to organize the annual GEBA legal redress workshop. She also volunteers with Youth Build and presents on sealing and expungement of records to local youth.
