David Tong and W. Robert Keller, partners at Saxon|Gilmore, attended the 2024 Windstorm Insurance Conference (WIND). WIND is an annual conference for the property and windstorm insurance claims industry. The conference brings together property claims professionals to learn, connect, and network in an effort to better the industry.
This year’s conference offered multiple networking opportunities with various engineers, adjusters, and other lawyers. The conference brought together the various players to understand all sides of the issues facing this industry. Additionally, the conference offered multiple courses, on an array of topics, that industry professionals face daily. There were also various breakout sessions, including discussions on rules and statute updates. As the property insurance rules and statutes are constantly changing, it is essential to know the updated changes in the law in order to advise clients appropriately.
