2017-Ricardo L. Gilmore, senior partner and co-founder of Saxon|Gilmore, was a panelist at the 2017 Middle Atlantic Regional Council (“MARC”) of NAHRO Conference and Exhibition. The topic was “Riding Out the Perfect Storm”. The discussion included tools for attendees to help protect their public housing assets in the wake of the HUD budget cuts. Issues addressed helped participants determine the best way to maximize limited funds while using existing programs.
The MARC NAHRO conference brings together housing and community development professionals from across the United States to hear from industry experts on topics including how to develop strategies to define and articulate programs, managing conflict with resident councils, and learning how to accurately determine family eligibility in the housing choice voucher program.
