Paul Quin, a partner at Saxon|Gilmore, recently attended a celebration for his friend Dom Famularo, drummer, writer, publisher, educator, and a major player in the percussion industry. As a way of honoring his work as an Education Consultant for SABIAN Cymbals, a scholarship has been set up in his name. The winner receives a cash prize as well as several sessions with drummers and people in the music industry, including Paul Quin, entertainment lawyer. This celebration was especially poignant as Dom Famularo passed away from pancreatic cancer on September 28, 2023.
Dom Famularo had travelled the world for over 40 years, playing drums, teaching others, and motivating students to follow their dreams. Many of Dom’s students have had successful careers in the music industry.
Mr. Quin has spent many years as a professional drummer and remains active in the music industry. He represents musicians in a number of civil and legal arenas.
