Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A. is pleased to announce that Tabitha S. Etlinger has received the Paul Harris Fellow award from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International “in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world.”
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition was established in 1957 to show appreciation for and encourage substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships.
Ms. Etlinger has been a member of Rotary Club of Downtown Tampa since 2012. During this time, she has volunteered for such worthy causes as Habitat for Humanity, performed pro bono work for Rotary Camp Florida, helped other Rotarians find host families for a student exchange program, and later chaperoned the students on a trip to Disney World. Ms. Etlinger has been the chairperson for two years in a row for the Gift of Life Gala. The proceeds of the Gala are used to provide life-saving surgery to needy children with failing hearts. Since 1996, over 120 needy children’s lives have been saved as a result of the funds raised from the annual Gala.
Ms. Etlinger is an associate at Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A. and a substantial portion of her practice involves commercial transactions and disputes, both domestic and international. Ms. Etlinger has experience in complex litigation, including both federal and state appeals, as well as finance and real estate transactions.
