2015 – Bernice Saxon, shareholder, and Jozette Chack-On, partner, attended the ribbon cutting ceremony on May 21, 2015, for the Landings at Cross Bayou project. Saxon Gilmore serves as counsel to the Pinellas County Housing Authority.
The Pinellas County Housing Authority partnered with Norstar Development USA, LP, the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Pinellas County to transform the French Villas public housing community. It was originally constructed in 1973 and in need of repair.
The 184-unit complex features a basketball court, playground, business center, fitness center, afterschool club, and more. The units have energy-efficient appliances, ceramic tile floors, and cherry wood cabinetry. The newly-renovated complex will provide safe, quality housing for low income families and individuals with special needs.
