Sarah M. Glaser is organizing Make a Difference Day to benefit elderly veterans who are living in foster homes in Hillsborough County. Numerous attorneys in our area are deeply committed to this cause. Every year, Ms. Glaser, as the Chair of the HCBA Community Committee, fills dozens of wish lists created by our local elderly veterans: items like toiletries and clothes that they desperately need. She gives these wish list items to the veterans in gift bags labeled with the veteran’s name, and she recruits people to deliver those items to the veterans on October 27th, Make a Difference Day. It’s a tiny act that Ms. Glaser and the HCBA do every year to make a big difference in the lives of those who dedicated their lives to serving our country.
